I am a 4th year PhD student at the University of Washington, advised by Dan Weld. My primary research area is Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), specifically in human-AI interaction and user-centered applications of AI. My current work explores two areas of human-AI interaction: (1) understanding the role of explanations in AI-assisted decision-making and (2) intelligent tools for consumption and co-creation of scientific literature.
In the past, I’ve interned at the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence (AI2) on the Semantic Scholar team, and at Google Research on teams for Android Accessibility and Android Machine Intelligence.
